Responsibilities
Develop end-to-end Snowflake data warehouses, including schemas, databases, and virtual warehouses, focusing on performance tuning and cost optimization
Design ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica (PowerCenter/IICS), Snowflake tasks, and streams to move data from on-premises/cloud sources to Snowflake
Implement dimensional, Data Vault, or hybrid modeling techniques for analytics
Implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), data masking, and encryption for compliance (GDPR, HIPAA)
Monitor query performance, tune virtual warehouses, and optimize data storage
Work with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
Qualification
Required
12+ years in data engineering or architecture, with at least 3-4 years focusing on Snowflake
Deep expertise in Snowflake (SQL, Snowpipe, Time Travel) and ETL tools (Informatica)
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
