Responsibilities
Lead and manage a project team responsible for traffic design and production
Serve as a day-to-day resource for technical guidance, mentorship, and problem-solving
Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to allocate resources effectively
Conduct regular staff meetings, workload planning, and project progress reviews
Ensure compliance with DOT, AASHTO, and company standards on all deliverables
Review and approve project plans, specifications, and reports for accuracy and completeness
Participate in performance reviews and support staff professional development plans
Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation
Assist Group Leaders with business development and proposal efforts as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required
10+ years of progressive experience in traffic design and project management
Proven ability to lead and develop project teams
Working knowledge of TXDOT and municipal standards
Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
