Responsibilities
Work with Agency Management System
Assist with analyzing and summarizing claims information
Review insurance company contracts for accuracy
Attend carrier presentations learning about product offerings
Research and development
Assist Technical Development Department with department audits
Participate in various professional development and educational sessions with East Region intern cohort
Handle special projects as assigned
Attend meetings related to your position
Qualification
Required
The ideal candidate will be a Sophomore or Junior studying Risk Management and Insurance, with a focus on Employee Benefits
Must possess a high level of motivation and excellent attention to detail
A high school diploma required
High proficiency in MS Office Suite
Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality
Above average spelling and grammar skills
Ability to work in a team environment
High level of organizational ability and ability to multi-task
Professional demeanor
Ability to be proactive and work independently
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Detail-oriented with good analytical skills
Regular and predictable attendance
Proficient in Graham standard computer applications
