Responsibilities
Conduct original research in network science, bioinformatics, and related fields, including data collection, computational modeling, and analysis (60%)
Disseminate research findings through peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, and grant proposals (20%)
Mentor and collaborate with graduate students and lab members to advance ongoing projects and support training (15%)
Contribute to laboratory management and collaborative initiatives within the BarabásiLab and with external partners (5%)
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of complex systems, network science, bioinformatics, and computational modeling, with the ability to design and implement independent research projects
Strong skills in data analysis, visualization, and scientific writing are required
These skills are normally acquired through a Ph.D. in Physics, Network Science, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, plus demonstrated research experience and peer-reviewed publications
