Research Assistant | Laboratory of Molecular Genetics and Immunology
The Rockefeller University is focused on dissecting the cellular and molecular mechanisms governing antibody specificity. The research assistant will support research projects investigating the effector function of antitumor IgG antibodies in vivo.
Education
Responsibilities
Designing, expressing, and purifiying recombinant proteins
Mainintaining and screening of animal colonies
Designing and conducting in vitro and in vivo experiments
Analyzing and managing experimental data
Performing related duties & responsiblities as assigned/requested
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in science
Must be willing to work with in vivo animal models (rodent strains)
The ability to work as part of a team and conduct experiments in a diligent manner
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Be self motivated
The ability to meet deliverables and deadlines
Preferred
An educational background and prior laboratory experience in immunology, molecular or cell biology, or related discipline
