Digital Designer, Design Systems
MODintelechy is a marketing and revenue growth consultancy helping B2B enterprise organizations scale with clarity, creativity, and purpose. The Digital Designer, Design Systems role focuses on supporting the development and application of design systems while delivering high-quality design work across multiple client engagements.
Responsibilities
Execute against and contribute to shared design systems, including components, patterns, tokens, and templates
Build and maintain reusable components in Figma using best practices such as auto layout, variants, and shared libraries
Apply design systems across multiple client engagements to validate scalability, flexibility, and consistency
Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or opportunities for improvement surfaced through real project work, and raise them with the Digital Design Director for prioritization and refinement
Partner with the Digital Design Director to support ongoing system improvements over time
Support documentation and usage guidance to help teams apply systems effectively
Design digital and marketing assets, including email templates, landing pages, websites, proposal templates, brand identity systems, and marketing collateral
Translate strategy, messaging, and requirements into clear, effective design solutions
Apply shared systems thoughtfully across different brands, audiences, and use cases
Balance consistency with adaptation based on client needs and brand context
Collaborate with strategists, writers, developers, and account partners throughout the delivery process
Participate in client presentations, reviews, and working sessions as needed
Work closely with the Digital Design Director to execute system priorities and direction
Contribute constructively to critiques and feedback sessions
Manage multiple workstreams while maintaining quality and attention to detail
Maintain a high bar for craft while working efficiently within shared frameworks
Qualification
Required
Approximately five years of professional experience in B2B digital design, preferably in an agency, consultancy, or multi-client environment
Strong proficiency in Figma, including component libraries, variants, auto layout, and documentation
Experience contributing to or working within a design system, or strong experience applying and adapting existing systems across projects
Ability to execute high-quality design across a range of digital and marketing deliverables
Comfort collaborating with developers and understanding basic front-end concepts, constraints, and handoff processes
Ability to take direction while also identifying opportunities to improve work and systems
Clear communication skills and comfort participating in client-facing conversations
