The IT Support & Warehouse Technician provides hands-on technical support for computers and hardware assets while maintaining an organized IT warehouse environment, focusing on troubleshooting, repairing devices, and managing the hardware lifecycle process.

Responsibilities
Diagnose and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, and peripherals
Perform repairs including part replacement and component testing
Retrieve data securely from devices
Prepare hardware for deployment including staging, imaging, and updates
Sanitize, reset, and validate returned devices
Initiate and track warranty repair requests
Document troubleshooting steps and repair activities
Support new device preparation, device refresh, decommissioning, and recycling
Maintain accurate device status and lifecycle records
Remove storage drives from decommissioned devices
Identify failing or end-of-life hardware
Receive, inspect, and log incoming hardware shipments
Package and ship hardware assets
Manage inventory levels and conduct monthly counts
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety
Handle e-waste and recycling processes
Utilize Numotion Leadership Principles to perform job with integrity, compliance, and values consistent with Numotion’s mission
Adhere to employee or customer confidentiality and comply with Numotion’s policies and federal regulations
Provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the operations at all times. Provide solutions for customer concerns and continually focus on customer service as our top priority
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Experience troubleshooting computer hardware
Familiarity with imaging and system setup
Ability to stand and move in warehouse conditions
Experience using asset-tracking systems
Ability to lift and organize inventory
Strong attention to detail
