Responsibilities

Lead and model strong performance across CE Technology sales operations for Central & South Texas
Partner with store leadership and CE/CCE sales teams to grow technology adoption and market share
Direct, motivate, and coach a professional sales team to achieve company goals
Guide the full sales process — prospecting, research, closing, forecasting, analytics, and campaign development
Manage sales activity and reporting in S2, along with expense and cross‑functional reporting
Develop annual sales goals, benchmarks, and budgets aligned with financial and operational objectives
Ensure customer satisfaction by understanding evolving customer needs and coordinating solutions across all departments
Strengthen technology expertise across the sales team, ensuring effective use of manufacturer programs and products
Manage inventory and assets responsibly
Foster a highly engaged work environment built on accountability, communication, teamwork, and customer focus
Facilitate communication through open‑book meetings, team meetings, and open‑door practices
Protect and elevate the company’s brand and reputation by upholding RDO Core Values in all interactions
Lead staffing, development, training, performance management, and resource allocation for the sales organization
Champion safe, ethical, and efficient business practices
Participate in company‑sponsored training to advance skills and industry knowledge
Maintain strong, professional relationships with peers, management, and support teams
Perform additional duties as assigned

Required

Ability to travel around 50% - 75%. Frequency may vary based on regional and business needs
Industry and/or heavy equipment retail sales experience
Strong understanding of local market conditions
Excellent customer service skills
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
High computer proficiency
Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship

Previous supervisory or management experience
College degree
