Responsibilities
Oversee a team of Project Managers responsible for the delivery of multiple projects across Service Delivery: High quality and efficient projects through the adoption of a standard project management framework
Adoption of multiple project execution frameworks, including waterfall and agile, to ensure optimal models in place for on time, on scope, on budget delivery
Executive communication excellence through Project Governance committees, executive reporting and general project leadership
Adoption of tools, including emerging technologies, to streamline project management activities, allowing for increased capacity of project delivery across Service Delivery
Lead project governance structure that ensures accountability and acts as a mechanism to forecast outcomes of project initiatives proactively and continually
Project Governance structure is responsible for Maintaining central oversight of Reporting and Data Analytics pertaining to in-flight and planned initiatives
Strengthening tools & methodologies and training to improve project execution and delivery
Working with Intake and Execution disciplines to ensure projects adhere to consistent methodologies around process, structures, and tools (e.g., SDLC) to support Transformation efforts
Oversee departmental budget and resource planning activities
Lead project execution and solution delivery functions
Working with business leaders to understand strategic pain points and lead the implementation plan for improvement / transformation based on prioritization
Directing and coordinating interactions supporting the horizontal initiatives spanning across Service Delivery Products and Operations globally
Facilitating cross organizational projects by coordinating stakeholders, aligning objectives, and driving collaborative initiatives to achieve shared goals efficiently
Serve as a standing member of IRG and IRG Execution Oversight Committees
Oversight of a team of Business Analysts responsible for project analysis through the project life cycle
Training, tools and methodologies required to ensure comprehensive and high quality project analysis
Adoption of emerging technology to streamline the process of research and analysis required for projects with a core objectives to improve the overall project delivery capacity across Service Delivery
Qualification
Required
BS/BA required, or equivalent work experience
A minimum of 15 years working experience in financial services industry, specifically in Asset Servicing
A minimum of 10 years of progressive management experience
Experience managing multiple internal or client relationships
Experience working on implementation projects
Proven ability to manage and implement change
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to think and work independently
Proven ability to motivate staff to perform and deliver high levels of client services
Strong communication skills with demonstrated presentation skills both verbal and written
Ability to manage strategic plans on time/on budget relating to investments, resources
Risk management focus with proven ability to assess risk and implement controls to mitigate risk effectively
Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal colleagues to enhance the knowledge of market and local client needs
Willingness to travel globally as needed
