Responsibilities

Support the Pharmacy department through various internships
Conduct medication history interviews to support the medication reconciliation process
Gain hands-on experience with essential pharmacy operations, learning about inventory control and automated medication dispensing cabinets
Assist with administrative and training projects, such as compiling onboarding materials for new technicians
Shadow staff across multiple roles to understand workflow, technology, and safety practices
Help implement new systems and contribute to medication safety initiatives
Support Pharmacy & Therapeutics initiatives by developing clear process documents for inventory and/or procurement systems
Analyze medication inventory and waste data to identify opportunities for cost savings, reduced waste, and optimized formulary management
Assist in providing patient-centered care under the supervision of a clinical pharmacist
Complete projects to improve medication-therapy-management process and create standard operating procedures

Required

High school diploma or GED equivalent
One year completion of college and currently enrolled at a college or university
Time-management skills
A keen interest in learning about healthcare administration
Ability to work remotely or on-site
A proactive attitude
Detail oriented
Professional and ethical demeanor
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited Doctor of Pharmacy program and have a valid Pharmacy Intern license in Indiana
High School Diploma or GED equivalent (required)
Pharmacy Tech-in-Training license, Pharmacy Technician licence, or Pharmacy Intern license required
Licensed as a Pharmacy Intern by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA)
Must be enrolled in pharmacy school at P3 status or higher with a minimum GPA of 3.2

Preferred

Interest in pharmacy, leadership, or supply chain
Call center experience is also preferred
Interest in pharmacy, leadership, or supply chain preferred
