The Department of Epidemiology is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to conduct vector control studies and develop CRISPR-based strategies for managing mosquito populations and reducing vector-borne diseases.

Qualification
Required
Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate in biology, genetics, entomology or related topics
Adequate skills to conduct population research if the doctoral degree is in another discipline
Molecular work (cloning, PCR)
Insect transgenesis and handling insects for testing CRISPR-based methods
Writing manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication
Writing reports
Attending conferences
Experience in grantsmanship
Research design, planning, and execution
Preferred
Mosquito experience
Molecular biology experience
