Responsibilities
Responsible for installing and switching out tools on the injection molding machines
Requires an understanding of the mechanics of the machines in order to accurately program a variety of plastic products
Must have sufficient knowledge to perform basic maintenance and repairs on all molding machines
Adjust process as needed to improve quality issues or to improve cycle rates
Ensure that waste and downtime is kept at a minimum
Adhere to all company safety standards
Qualification
Required
High School degree, GED, or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years in injection molding
Understand and follow basic verbal and/or written instructions
Ability to pay close attention to detail
Must possess basic keyboarding skills and understanding of Microsoft Office products, and the ability to use email
Meet and maintain high attendance standards
Work well within a team and maintain pace while ensuring high quality standards. Assist other team members, as needed, to ensure customer satisfaction
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret written instruction
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Due to the open environment of the work area, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold
May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts and parts containers
