Customer Service Intake Specialist

Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for families and caregivers
Capture accurate pediatric patient and caregiver information
Verify consent and documentation for nutrition and DME services
Triage requests and route cases to care teams
Coordinate intake materials (prescriptions, CMNs, clinical notes)
Coordinate and confirm dispense of product through DME
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required, college coursework a plus
Must be at least 18 years of age
1+ year of customer service experience
Typing speed of 25 WPM with 90% accuracy required
Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Outlook & Excel
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to obtain, organize and present information
Ability to handle multiple tasks as assigned
Experience in Healthcare intake, DME, or pediatric support roles
Strong attention to detail and family-centered communication skills
Comfort working with referrals, orders, and documentation
