Responsibilities
Perform critical functions to support daily operations in support of Private Market data
Including investment entity set-up for the respective trading desks
Perform detailed data analysis
Identify and resolve data issues
Manage a repository of private market documents
Participate in Operations projects/initiatives involving multiple business partners and provide subject matter expertise
Liaise with customer, business partners, and systems to translate business requirements into data requirements, evaluating and recommending data solutions
Mentor and guide junior associates on analysis and operational activities
Participate in new product forums and work to stay apprised of Finance industry news and market trends
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance or related field
5-7 years' experience working in an Operations and/or Business Analysis role
Able to interact with vendors, clients and end users of the data
Exhibited skills in problem identification and resolution
Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
Solid oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
Good organizational and project management skills to navigate through high volume setting with tight deadlines
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with all levels of staff, management and other business partners
Strong analytical skills to categorize information logically and define metadata
Strong learning agility to quickly understand and connect key concepts and dependencies
Participate in Operations projects/initiatives involving multiple business partners and provide subject matter expertise
Liaise with customer, business partners, and systems to translate business requirements into data requirements, evaluating and recommending data solutions
Mentors and guides junior associates on analysis and operational activities
Participates in new product forums and works to stay apprised of Finance industry news and market trends
Preferred
Financial Services Industry experience working with Private Market reference data
Experienced in managing projects in an agile environment
Experience with content management systems (i.e. Sharepoint, DocuShare, Nuxeo, etc)
Familiar with alternative investments, including private equity, real estate, private credit, hedge funds and other non-traditional investments
