Responsibilities

Work from drawings, engineering specifications, sketches, verbal instructions, and other data, to build, maintain, or rework a wide variety of prototype components, lab fixtures, and test vehicles. Work closely with Design, Product Evaluation, and Shop Supervision in the development and construction of component parts and equipment

Maintain required quality specifications

Performs engineering test validations to determine the performance, reliability, and durability of components and vehicle systems

Installation of test instrumentation for structural, hydraulic, vibration, and noise tests on Skidsteer and Compact Track Loader machines

Fabricate, set-up, and disassemble test equipment and instrumentation

Required

High school diploma or GED

1-2 years of experience with data acquisition and instrumentation

1-2 years of experience with mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge
