Global Business Unit Financial Analyst – Global HPC BU
VARITE INC is a global organization looking for a Global Business Unit Financial Analyst for their HPC Business Unit. The role involves supporting business decision-making processes, analyzing financial data, and ensuring consistency across reporting and budgeting activities.

Responsibilities
Analyze business margin trends and isolate variances by region, key accounts, and products
Consolidate new business development data and prepare analysis for monthly and quarterly management reports
Perform fixed cost analysis in coordination with BU and Corporate teams to isolate variances by function and region
Prepare global monthly RCG reporting decks with clear analytical commentary
Own consolidation of volume, sales, and margin (VPM) during the budget process
Ensure consistency of budget decks and support regional controllers with budget completion
Own reporting governance and ensure consistency across: VPM and reconciliation with P&L, BU customer and product segmentation, Fixed cost segmentation by nature and region, Manufacturing cost segmentation
Review BU processes to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions to improve consistency and controls
Coordinate collection of data (sales, fixed costs) in order to create Global Databases - Managing regional inputs to drive consistent global consolidation of BU reporting
Carry out worldwide studies on Accounting practices and SAP usage
Fixed cost segmentation, margin variance categorization, gross to net sales, shared department allocation keys
Supports global functions such as product line marketing and key account managers on key initiatives like Connected Product line / sourcing model and pricing strategy analysis
Qualification
Required
Education: BS or BA in Accounting, Economics, Finance or related degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience preferred in Finance, Accounting, or Audit roles
Experience in supporting a business unit or advanced business analysis preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with senior business managers
Solid analytical skills; record of strong continuous learning
Ability to communicate essential financial concepts for ease of understanding by all players
Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Works, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
Strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of how to leverage a wide variety of data and related computer tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization
Ability to lead self and works collaboratively to identify process improvement opportunities
Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing; listens effectively and clarifies information as needed; works well with others in a cross-functional team environment knowing who to engage to achieve results
Excellent organizational and time management skills to include the ability to multi-task, manage multiple priorities, and effectively manage projects in a diverse organization
Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines
Preferred
Experience in supporting a business unit or advanced business analysis preferred
Working knowledge of SAP, OneStream, & Power BI experience preferred
