Director of Culture & Talent Development

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and sustain a comprehensive culture strategy aligned with the organization’s mission, values, and strategic priorities
Lead efforts to gather employee input through surveys, focus groups, listening sessions, and other feedback mechanisms
Translate cultural insights into actionable initiatives that improve engagement, trust, and retention
Design and oversee leadership development programs that strengthen quality of services, accountability, communication, and inclusive leadership behaviors
Ensure supervisors and leaders are equipped with the skills and tools needed to model and reinforce desired culture
Partner with HR and executive leadership to align leadership training with organizational priorities and performance expectations
Provide coaching to leaders and managers to support effective people leadership, change management, and culture alignment
Influence across the organization without direct authority to drive consistent leadership practices and behaviors
Partner closely with executive leadership, HR, and operational leaders to embed culture expectations into policies, procedures, and daily decision-making
Support leaders in holding teams accountable to organizational values, behaviors, and standards
Serve as a strategic advisor on culture-related challenges and opportunities
Establish metrics to assess culture, engagement, leadership effectiveness, and retention
Analyze workforce data and feedback to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
Continuously evaluate and refine culture and development initiatives to ensure effectiveness and sustainability

Required

A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in organizational development, leadership development, or talent management
Demonstrated experience leading culture, engagement, and leadership development initiatives
Experience designing and implementing leadership training programs that drive behavioral change and accountability
Experience supporting organizations through significant change, including growth, restructuring, or system implementation
Experience partnering with leadership and influencing at senior levels without direct authority
Experience using employee engagement data, workforce metrics, and feedback tools to inform strategy and measure impact

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, Psychology, Education, or a related field
