Project Manager, Pay Equity
NEOGOV is seeking a Pay Equity Project Manager to oversee and manage various Pay Equity projects within the Harris County Human Resources Division. The role involves collaborating with HR teams and stakeholders to define project objectives, develop plans, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities
Manages complex Pay Equity projects and vendors from inception through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget by defining project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders and are compliant with Harris County policies and procedures, as wells as with federal and state regulatory requirements
Develops full-scale short-term and long-term project plans and associated communications documents, coordinates and manages project tasks and deliverables ensuring resource availability and allocation, and tracks project milestones and deliverables while providing regular status reports to stakeholders
Identifies and manages project risks and issues, develops contingency plans as necessary, and conducts project debriefings to formalize reports that identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
Develops and manages project budgets, ensuring project expenditures are aligned with the approved budget, and monitors and reports on project financials, addressing any discrepancies promptly
Builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes and communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a clear and timely manner
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Four (4) years of Project Management or Project Management Oversight
Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Excellent knowledge of change management principles
Excellent knowledge of performance metrics
Excellent organizational skills and ability to work effectively on competing issues
Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
Proven budget planning and management skills
Ability to analyze and report data
Ability to present information clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences
