Responsibilities
Provide Tier 2/3 support for AV systems, including video conferencing, projection, displays, sound, and control systems
Support and troubleshoot video teleconferencing (VTC) platforms such as Cisco Webex Telepresence, Cisco Room Kits, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom, including integrations with third-party platforms
Monitor and optimize the performance of conferencing platforms and AV infrastructure to ensure reliability and service quality
Deliver high-touch technical support for executive meetings, leadership sessions, and critical events
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across voice and unified communications infrastructure, including Cisco UC, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom Phone
Travel on an as-needed basis to customer resource center locations within Los Angeles County to support deployments, incident response, or maintenance activities
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of hands-on experience in unified communications, AV integration, service and troubleshooting
Practical experience supporting Webex, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Crestron environments
Working knowledge of AV-over-IP and network-based media transport technologies
Proven experience deploying and supporting enterprise UC ecosystems
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose issues across AV, UC, and network layers
Self-motivated and dependable, with the ability to succeed in a contract-to-hire engagement
Strong communication skills, capable of working directly with customer IT teams, vendors, and business users
Experience providing knowledge transfer and informal training to end users and support teams
Preferred
VoIP & Telephony: SIP, enterprise telephony platforms, voice gateways, and UC infrastructure
Networking Fundamentals: IP addressing, routing, QoS, and basic network security concepts
Microsoft Teams: Voice architecture, conferencing, and Microsoft 365 integrations
Cisco Collaboration Technologies: Webex Meetings, CUCM, Cisco Call Manager, Webex devices, and Cisco VoIP solutions
