Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of P&C products, from concept through launch, maintenance, and enhancement
Monitor product performance, profitability, growth, and retention
Recommend product enhancements, coverage changes, pricing updates, and underwriting guideline adjustments
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities
Analyze customer, agent, and broker feedback to inform product decisions
Support state expansion and product rollout strategies
Partner with Underwriting and Actuarial on pricing, rate adequacy, and risk appetite
Work with Compliance and Legal to support state filings, approvals, and regulatory adherence
Coordinate with Operations and IT on system configuration, workflows, and product implementation
Support Sales and Marketing with product positioning, training, and launch materials
Ensure products comply with state insurance regulations, including Utah DOI requirements
Assist with product filings, rule changes, and regulatory inquiries
Maintain product documentation, forms, and manuals
Track and report on product KPIs, including loss ratio, premium growth, and profitability
Prepare presentations and recommendations for senior leadership
Use data insights to drive continuous product improvement

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, Economics, or related field
5–8+ years of experience in P&C insurance product management, underwriting, or actuarial support
Prior experience working for a P&C insurance carrier
Strong understanding of P&C products, pricing, and underwriting principles
Experience working cross-functionally in a regulated environment

Preferred

Experience with Utah and multi-state product filings
Commercial Lines or Personal Lines product experience
CPCU, AINS, ARM, or similar insurance designation
Experience with policy administration systems and product configuration
