Corporate Accounting Manager
Ellsworth Corporation is a global, industry leading distributor of specialty chemicals and equipment and adhesive manufacturer. The Corporate Accounting Manager will manage the Corporate Accounting Department and global consolidation to ensure the accuracy of financial information, supervise a team of accounting staff, and prepare financial analyses of operations.

Responsibilities
Manages the day-to-day activities of one or more of the Corporate Accounting sub-functions
Ensures day-to-day accounting and month-end activities for assigned Corporate and/or Business Unit entity, which includes close-out of General Ledger and preparation of reports
Collaborates with global finance teams in consolidating global financial results and prepares both internal and external consolidated financial statements
Assists with developing and maintaining accurate accounting procedures and policies to ensure the efficient operation of the accounting department
Collaborates with Corporate Finance and Business Units to ensure Corporate accounting procedures and policies remain up-to-date with accounting standards and regulations and to ensure efficient operations
Qualification
Required
5 + years of experience in an Accounting related function
3+ years of supervisory or management experience
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college in Accounting, Finance or related field. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent
Demonstrated integrity, commitment to customer service, quality, collaboration, teamwork, drive, compliance, hard work, discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement
Very strong business acumen, with ability to build relationships with management and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Experienced with monitoring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures
Strong project management skills, with ability to support multiple simultaneous business initiatives
Very strong communication skills, including up, down, across, within and outside the organization
Ability to build strong relationships across disciplines throughout the entire company
Commitment to personal development, including both team and self
Uses influence to stretch the thinking within the business
Travel- Occasional- less than 5%
Preferred
3 + years in public accounting preferred
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Preferred
Experience with OneStream or Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) consolidation software preferred
