Responsibilities
Conduct the more routine and straightforward responsibilities and duties related to on-site evaluations of financial records of gambling establishments and Tribal audits
Apply accounting and auditing principles and procedures to work performed and document in audit work papers
Ensure that the methodologies used are consistent with audit program standards
Assist senior auditor in verifying that audit schedules and narratives are complete and that audit findings are properly supported and explained in applicable work papers
Attend entrance and exit conferences of different types of audits as well as interview gambling establishment personnel
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders via email and/or phone
Utilize computer programs to analyze and organize financial data and draw sound conclusions
Access and maintain audit data and files
Qualification
Required
Ability to analyze financial documents to detect skimming, money laundering or other illegal banking activities
Experience in conducting on-site evaluations of financial records
Knowledge of accounting and auditing principles and procedures
Ability to document work performed in audit work papers
Familiarity with audit program standards
Assist senior auditor in verifying audit schedules and narratives
Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders via email and/or phone
Proficiency in utilizing computer programs to analyze and organize financial data
Ability to access and maintain audit data and files
