Responsibilities

Utilize CAD expertise to improve site drawings
Assist with updating and organizing facility drawings and maps
Help review current layouts and documentation for accuracy
Support efforts to improve clarity of emergencies and safety materials used across the site
Participate in basic on-site walkthroughs to gather or verify information
Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure updates reflect current operations and safety expectations

Required

Pursuing a Degree in Engineering. Mechanical or Industrial preferred
Must be available for 10 weeks during Summer 2026 (May-August 2026) with a graduation date of December 2026 or later
Be interested in working for Corning, Inc after graduation, if presented with a full-time job opportunity
Be willing to work at the posted job location

Preferred

Familiar with drafting using AutoCAD or equivalent software
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
Familiarity with statistical tools or process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma)
Internship or academic project experience in manufacturing or engineering
