Responsibilities
Assist with the design and development of enterprise application features and enhancements
Write, test, and document code using Angular, Java, Spring Boot, GIS, and Azure Function technologies
Develop responsive front-end components using Angular and Material Design libraries
Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services
Support GIS integrations and spatial data processing requirements
Implement automated testing using jUnit and, where applicable, Jasmine and Karma
Design and support PostGIS-based reporting layers and relational database solutions
Work with ArcGIS Online, WebEOC ArcGIS extensions, and related GIS platforms
Use development tools such as VS Code, Eclipse, or Spring Tool Suite and Git/Azure Repos for collaboration
Develop and support geocoding and geoprocessing services
Apply mobile-first, responsive design principles across supported platforms
Ensure applications meet accessibility standards and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with team members to deliver maintainable, scalable, and compliant solutions
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience with Angular (Angular 14 or higher preferred) and responsive UI development
Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API integration
Experience with GIS integrations and spatial data handling
Experience with testing frameworks including jUnit; Jasmine and Karma preferred
Experience with PostGIS‑based data design and PostgreSQL or similar database systems
Experience with ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, and Esri Maps API/SDK for JavaScript
Knowledge of ArcPro/ArcObjects, GeoEvent Processor, Velocity, Experience Builder, Survey123, and Field Maps
Experience designing and developing geocodes and geoprocessing services
Knowledge of ArcSDE and multi‑user versioning with state trees or branch versioning
Knowledge of linear referencing systems, Roads and Highways, and Oracle Spatial/Locator
Strong understanding of design patterns and SOLID principles
Knowledge of digital accessibility, disability inclusion, and regulatory standards such as Section 508 and ADA
Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA requirements and WAI‑ARIA authoring guidelines
Experience designing for HTML, CSS, JavaScript, iOS, and Android platforms
Experience optimizing applications for platform accessibility features
Experience developing digital products that comply with accessibility standards
Preferred
Angular 14 or higher preferred
Jasmine and Karma preferred
Experience incorporating accessibility testing into development processes is preferred
Experience delivering products where accessibility compliance is part of the definition of done is preferred
