Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate
Carry an assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, state and local requirements, and post orders
Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or public responders when needed
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and around the exterior perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or access
Complete required reports and logs, document unusual activity, and communicate key information to supervisors and/or the client while maintaining confidentiality
Qualification
Required
Have 2+ years of security experience
Be 21+ years of age
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Participate in industry-specific security training programs
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
CPR/First Aid is preferred
CPR certification is preferred
