High School Program Leader (Redwood City - Part Time)
Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula (BGCP) is the largest expanded learning provider in San Mateo County, dedicated to empowering youth with equitable access to opportunities. The High School Program Leader is responsible for supporting students' academic needs through tutoring and advising, while also guiding them in building academic and life skills in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities
Manage various program spaces with approximately 20 students per 1 staff
Provide academic advising and homework assistance
Lead students through guided enrichment and/or community building activities
Communicate with parents/guardians, school staff, and BGCP leadership
Maintain a positive, safe, productive work environment
Participate in supporting special events and field trips
Attend training and professional development opportunities
Perform additional relevant duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Commitment to BGCP's mission and vision and working with 9th - 12th grade youth
Familiarity working with students who attend Title 1 schools
Experience building relationships with diverse youth communities and constituents
Ability to motivate through positive reinforcement
Strong communication skills
Flexible in navigating a fast-paced environment
Preferred
One year of experience working with 9th - 12th grade youth
Spanish fluency is a plus
