Linux Systems Administrator

Responsibilities
Experience updating, testing, and validating changes to systems
Experience using health and status monitoring software, including Nagios
Experience with system security hardening and IAVA/CVE patching for Linux systems and workstations
Knowledge of System Administration interdependencies specific to RHEL 8 and RHEL 9 systems and administration of Linux-based workstations
Knowledge of GitLab and Ansible with experience building and modifying playbooks
Knowledge of RHEL subscription manager
Knowledge of PKI infrastructure
TS/SCI with a polygraph
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, information technology, or engineering and 10+ years of experience with administration of Linux-based systems and workstation or a HS Diploma or GED and 12+ years of experience with administration of Linux-based systems and workstation
DoD 8570-Compliant IAT Level II or III Certification, such as Security+ Certification
Experience creating Linux-based solutions for customer requirements
Experience supporting U.S. government customers, preferably within the U.S. Intelligence Community
Experience with Linux scripting languages
Knowledge of network concepts and switch/firewall configurations
Bachelor’s degree
RedHat Linux Certification
Willingness to travel 25-30%
