Build and maintain REST/GraphQL services and integration layers used by front-end apps and partner systems
Implement domain logic, validation, and error handling with observability (logs/metrics)
Write unit and integration tests; contribute to API specs and documentation
Partner with FE engineers to define contracts and support iterative delivery
Qualification
Required
One or more projects in Node.js/TypeScript or Java
Comfort with HTTP, JSON, endpoints, and basic database concepts
Interest in testing, debugging, and clean code practices
Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn from senior mentors
Preferred
Postman/Insomnia, basic SQL skills, message queues, auth (OAuth/JWT), cloud fundamentals (AWS/Azure/GCP)
