Educational Program Coordinator I
Michigan State University College of Engineering is seeking an Educational Program Coordinator I to support their online Master of Public Health program. The role involves managing day-to-day operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and serving as a liaison among faculty, students, and external partners.

Responsibilities
Support the day-to-day operations of the graduate program, ensuring efficient academic coordination, regulatory compliance, and high-quality student services
Serve as a central liaison among faculty, students, university offices, and external partners, contributing to the success and integrity of the graduate program
Participate in faculty meetings, supporting faculty and staff on academic committees, and program management activities in support of ongoing program operations and accreditation requirements
Qualification
Required
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in Educational Theory and Methodology and/or a specialization in public health, education, or related areas
Six months to one year of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in planning and overseeing seminars and conferences including public relations, organizing and disseminating training materials and information both written and web-based
Budget and records maintenance and computer support
Experience in database, spreadsheet, word processing, desktop publishing, knowledge of HTML programming and web site development and management
An equivalent combination of education and experience
One to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in higher education and/or project management
Preferred
Master's degree in public health, education, or other similar degrees
Previous experience with CEPH or other accreditation processes
Strong understanding of accreditation and evaluation goals
Competence in program evaluation and measuring outcomes
Experience with the practice of project management
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Collaborative and well organized
Experience establishing objectives, a work plan, evaluation plan, and reports
Strong organizational and project management skills (or 3+ years of project management experience)
Familiarity with learning management systems (such as D2L Brightspace or Canvas) is preferred, including basic understanding of course organization, content management, and user support
