Non-profit Organization Management
Responsibilities
Reviewing our current financial information, including income and expenses
Developing a realistic annual operating budget aligned with our programs and capacity
Providing guidance and support related to nonprofit tax filings (including Form 990), such as what’s required, how to prepare, and how to stay compliant
Conducting a high-level financial management assessment and offering practical recommendations for improvement
Advising on accounting system considerations or next steps, as needed, to support future growth
Qualification
Required
Skilled in finance or accounting
Experience with developing annual budgets
Knowledge of nonprofit tax readiness and compliance
Ability to review financial information including income and expenses
Experience with nonprofit tax filings (including Form 990)
Capability to conduct financial management assessments
Ability to provide practical recommendations for improvement
Experience advising on accounting systems
Strong communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a team
Flexibility in scheduling and availability for virtual check-ins
