Responsibilities

Apply knowledge of the financial markets and real assets lending to source, negotiate and close attractive insurance investments
Willingness to learn and apply insurance regulatory knowledge
Ability to understand and help structure insurance fund solutions eg. Rated note feeder
Interact with origination teams across the broader Starwood platform to identify attractive insurance investment opportunities
Work with the team to develop and execute marketing outreach directly to insurance clients
Review transaction opportunities and evaluate their suitability for insurance companies
Develop effective and collaborative working relationships with the firm’s different origination and underwriting teams

Required

Superior analytical and problem solving skills with a preference for candidates with prior experiencing building financial models

Self-starter with the ability to multi-task on complicated financings and projects
Strong sense of urgency
Detail oriented and thorough
Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student
Anticipated graduation date: Fall 2027 – Spring 2028
