Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

Transform operational data into insights that support high-quality, efficient hospice care
Create and maintain reports on service utilization, patient outcomes, and operational costs
Identify trends and opportunities for improvement across hospice locations and programs
Develop clear summaries, dashboards, and visual reports to support leadership decision-making
Support process improvements that enhance efficiency, quality of care, and regulatory compliance
Use data analysis to improve operational performance and the patient and staff experience
Partner with finance teams on budgeting, forecasting, and operational planning
Assist with financial and operational analyses to evaluate workflow and process changes
Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and billing teams to ensure smooth, compliant operations

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field
1-3 years of experience as an operations analyst, financial analyst, or in a similar role, ideally within healthcare or hospice services
Basic understanding of operational metrics, reporting, and performance analysis
Experience using data analysis or reporting tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint, or similar software
Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights
Strong skills in prioritizing, strategizing, and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision
Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to build professional relationships and work effectively with teams
High level of personal integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information and making sound judgments

Preferred

Healthcare experience preferred but not required
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and other healthcare management software is a plus
