Responsibilities
Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, data and network support spaces, parking areas, and building perimeters to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns
Monitor access points and key areas, assist with badge and visitor processes as directed, and report unusual activity in accordance with site procedures
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site contacts and local responders as needed
Complete accurate shift documentation, including patrol logs, incident reports, and follow-up communications, and assist with basic security-related inspections of doors, gates, and critical equipment areas
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire
Customer service experience is preferred
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred
A guard card and/or license is preferred
