Sales Support Analyst Senior

Sentry is a leading mutual insurance company that has been helping businesses succeed since 1904. As a Sales Support Analyst Senior, you will provide technical support for Sentry systems to Sales Producers, recommend process enhancements, and maintain sales reports for management.
Insurance

Responsibilities

Respond to phone calls and emails from business unit users regarding Sentry systems, processes, procedures, and workflows
Consult with the business units to determine system and/or workflow needs and the related requirements
After analysis is complete, draft mockups for IT use in addressing defects and/or creating system enhancements
Complete user acceptance testing on defects and/or enhancements as well as assist with the sales announcement on the changes
May initiate outgoing phone calls to inform clients and prospects of coverage offerings. Verifies and explains coverage types offered to clients and prospects. Responds to incoming requests for quotes. Acts on behalf of agent and assists in gathering information to provide quote. Leverages software to produce mass mailings or multi-media contacts. Tracks details of incoming and outgoing calls
Maintain business reports to regarding Direct Writer products on in force, quotes, and prospects
Leverage a wide range of internal and external data sources to fulfill ad hoc report requests from sales management

Required

Associate Degree or equivalent work experience, education emphasis in Information Systems or related discipline strongly preferred
3+ years of related work experience
Working knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance products, practices & procedures
Demonstrated experience with various business software systems such as CRM, Sales Center (including proposal builder), Echo, CustomerOne, and Systems of Records (PolicyCenter, Fortress and LifePro)
Demonstrated ability to manage work priorities, planning and time management skills
Effective communication, human relations, organizational and analytical skills
Proficient knowledge and skills related to personal computers and software packages, including Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Preferred

Ability to obtain P&C license preferred
