Systems Test Engineer - Telecom

The Systems Test Engineer will ensure the reliability and performance of next-generation air traffic control systems by developing test plans, validating system performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
Developing and executing test plans across hardware, software, and integrated systems
Validating and documenting system performance to ensure safety and compliance
Working with cutting-edge networking technologies, including routing and switching (BGP, OSPF), TDM to MPLS migration, SDN, network security (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS), and cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Collaborating with cross-functional teams in aviation, engineering, data science, and systems integration
Qualification
Required
U.S. Citizenship Required
Clearance: Must be able to obtain/maintain Public Trust clearance
Education: Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or IT (or additional 4 years of experience)
Experience: 5+ years in IT systems, telecom engineering, or network administration
Networking Expertise: Strong grasp of TCP/IP, OSI model, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS)
Telecom & Networking Tech: Hands-on experience with VoIP, SIP trunking, fiber optics, satellite communications, 4G/LTE, 5G, routers, switches, firewalls, PBX, and optical networking equipment
Next-Gen Skills: Cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP), network automation (Python, Ansible), and AI-driven analytics for proactive troubleshooting
