This role will provide strategic leadership and program execution support for public health systems and technical solutions, focusing on healthcare technology initiatives and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities
Lead planning, coordination, and execution of statewide health systems change initiatives
Support development, enhancement, and maintenance of healthcare IT solutions including:
Tobacco Free Florida AHEC Cessation Tracker (TFFACT)
E-referral hub and provider integrations
Florida Clean Air Act system
Quitline technical solutions
Facilitate collaboration across healthcare providers, AHECs, health plans, behavioral health organizations, and state stakeholders
Coordinate with EHR vendors and health systems to enable referral and interoperability workflows
Conduct stakeholder meetings, governance sessions, and strategy workshops
Develop implementation roadmaps, program plans, and performance metrics
Manage vendor and partner relationships
Incorporate evaluation findings and data insights into program improvements
Provide executive-level reporting and recommendations to DOH leadership
Drive health systems change initiatives across hospitals, FQHCs, behavioral health providers, AHECs, and health plans
Coordinate EHR integrations and e-referral workflows
Manage Quitline vendor + evaluation partners
Lead strategy, stakeholder meetings, planning, and execution
Support development and maintenance of:
Tobacco Free Florida AHEC Cessation Tracker (TFFACT)
E-referral hub
Florida Clean Air Act system
Quitline technical solutions
This is enterprise, cross-agency coordination + healthcare IT, not hands-on development
Qualification
Required
Extensive experience collaborating with healthcare providers and health systems (hospitals, FQHCs, behavioral health, payers, ACOs, etc.)
Significant experience leading healthcare or public health systems change initiatives across government and multi-organization environments
Strong background managing healthcare IT solutions and system implementations
Demonstrated experience leading enterprise or statewide programs and cross-functional teams
Experience building strategic partnerships and managing complex stakeholder relationships
Experience with healthcare technology environments, integrations, and workflows
Experience supporting healthcare program evaluation and performance improvement
25 years – working with healthcare providers/health systems
20 years – coordinating systems change across government/health systems
10+ years – healthcare IT solutions/implementations
10+ years – program/project management in healthcare environments
10+ years – leading enterprise or multi-organization teams
15+ years – partnership building & relationship management
15+ years – technology systems/solutions in healthcare
10 years – strategic planning
10 years – financial management related to healthcare systems
3 years – tobacco cessation or similar public health initiatives
Bachelor's or Master's degree required
Preferred
Experience working with State or local health departments
Experience supporting tobacco cessation or population health initiatives
Familiarity with EHR platforms (Epic, Cerner/Oracle Health, Athena, etc.)
Background in public health, healthcare administration, or clinical informatics
Strong facilitation and executive communication skills
