Responsibilities
Keep the resort running smoothly by maintaining, repairing, and inspecting hotel equipment, rooms, and public areas
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
Perform preventive maintenance to avoid storms before they roll in
Respond promptly to maintenance requests so guests stay relaxed and carefree
Maintain the resort’s laid-back look by keeping facilities safe, clean, and guest-ready
Follow safety procedures and company standards—because paradise should always be safe
Collaborate with other departments to keep operations sailing smoothly
Qualification
Preferred
Previous maintenance or engineering experience in a hotel, resort, or similar environment preferred
Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance systems
Strong problem-solving skills with a can-do, beach-positive attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
Physical ability to lift, bend, climb, and move throughout the property
