Lewis-Clark State College is inviting applications for the position of External Operations Coordinator. This role focuses on overseeing external administrative processes related to revenue generation, enhancing the fan experience, and managing ticketing operations for the Athletics Department.

Responsibilities

The External Operations Coordinator oversees all aspects of external administrative processes related to revenue generation
The position plays a critical part in enhancing the fan experience, increasing athletic event attendance, and supporting the department's financial sustainability
This role also oversees all aspects of ticketing operations and event admissions for the Athletics Department and for the institution as the host of the NAIA World Series
The ideal candidate is passionate about college athletics, detail-oriented, and experienced in event management and sales operations
Additional duties include direct and indirect activities to support recruitment and retention of students

Athletic ticketing experienceEvent operations experienceSales experienceMicrosoft Office proficiencyGoogle Workspace proficiencyTicketing systems knowledgeOrganizational skillsCommunication skillsInterpersonal skills

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management, Business, or a related field from a regionally accredited college or university
1-3 years of experience in athletic ticketing, event operations, or sales
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and ticketing systems (HomeTown)
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for events
Must have a valid driver's license

Preferred

Experience at the collegiate or NAIA levels
Knowledge of athletic department revenue structures and fundraising practices
Familiarity with hosting championship-level events (e.g. NAIA World Series)
