Overseeing the organization’s information technology infrastructure, processes, and personnel
Partnering with senior executives to ensure IT operations align with and support the organization’s strategic and business objectives
Providing guidance, mentorship, and support to departmental staff
Effectively utilizing resources to ensure the efficient completion of tasks
Demonstrating ethical behavior and upholding the highest standards of security, privacy, and confidentiality
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field required
Minimum of 5–7 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in healthcare information technology
Demonstrated experience leading enterprise IT operations in a hospital or health system in a hospital or health system environment
Experience with Epic EMR implementation, optimization, upgrades, or ongoing operational support required
Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills
In-depth understanding of healthcare information systems, clinical workflows, and EMR platforms
Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Excellent communication, financial management, and relationship-building skills
High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism
Preferred
Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
