Responsibilities
Develop relationships quickly and easily with other teams, communicating the complexities of security with a wide variety of audiences, including senior management
Implement infrastructure and cybersecurity controls, including enhanced detection and vulnerability capabilities and improved event correlation in large enterprises
Perform risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas
Leverage big data analytics and traditional security event types to identify advanced threats or indicators of compromise
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience with network Security Control Frameworks to support network and systems accreditation and cybersecurity standards
5+ years of experience using and applying the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) or similar framework of controls and cybersecurity measures
Knowledge of technology security controls and the network accreditation process, including the phases leading up to achieving an Authority to Operate (ATO) certification
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
HS diploma or GED
Preferred
Experience with Xacta, Greenlight, or similar security control tracking systems
Experience monitoring and assessing risk on Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M) items
Experience with scanning tools, including Nessus, Rapid7, or Nipper
Experience analyzing scans, including NMAP, Vulnerability, and scan results
