Peer Services Program Manager

They are seeking a Peer Services Program Manager responsible for directing peer programming, supervising staff, and ensuring effective team operations while providing direct services and maintaining compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities
Establishes standards that ensure peer resources are utilized at an optimal level, directs and develops staff, and collaborates with multidisciplinary professional staff
Oversee the development of peer programming
Assist with change management by coaching staff through necessary changes or program improvements
Provide training not only to the peers, but to the agency as a whole on the advantages of incorporating these important positions onto clinical teams
Ensure accurate records and reporting and compliance with county, state and federal laws, rules and regulations regarding clinical staff, in addition to any reporting for grants/contracts assigned
Evaluate staff performance for all direct reports; address performance issues, resolve conduct and ethical issues; carry out disciplinary action when needed. Conduct performance reviews for all direct reports
Work alongside internal and external leaders from other agencies
Serve as a resource person to clinical staff, case managers, and team leads regarding peer services
Utilize life experience from personal journey of recovery from addition and/or mental health challenges to engage, advocate, and link SummitStone Health Partners clients to formal and informal treatment, activities, services, and/or supports
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or completion of G.E.D. preferred
Lived experience with mental health and/or substance use issues (either personally or as a family member) with 2+ years of sustained recovery required
More than two years of experience in supervision, program development, and managing projects required
More than one year of experience with program development and peer services required
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be evaluated and considered
Colorado Peer Specialist certification or willingness to immediately work toward certification. All trainings, work experience hours, and costs toward certification are covered in-house
Valid Colorado driver's license or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record required
COPA certified peer specialist required
CPR and First Aid certification required at certain locations
Preferred
COPA Colorado Peer Specialist Certification (CPFS), current and in good-standing preferred
Experience in program development and managing clinical projects preferred
Bilingual/bi-cultural preferred
