Responsibilities
Support SOC 2 audits by coordinating evidence collection and responding to auditor requests
Assist with HITRUST compliance activities, including documentation and remediation tracking
Maintain and update information security policies, procedures, and standards
Conduct risk assessments and track security and compliance risks
Monitor security controls and identify potential gaps
Maintain audit documentation and evidence repositories
Support internal and external security questionnaires and vendor risk assessments
Collaborate with IT, HR, Legal, and Operations teams on compliance efforts
Assist with security awareness initiatives and best practices
Track remediation plans and follow up on findings
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in MIS, IT, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
3–6 years of experience in IT security, compliance, or audit support
HITRUST experience required
Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication
Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
Strong organizational and follow-up skills
Professional demeanor and accountability
Preferred
SOC 2 audit support experience preferred
