Responsibilities
Design and implement backend services written primarily in TypeScript
Build and maintain containerized applications deployed on Kubernetes
Collaborate with platform and DevOps teams to improve reliability, scalability, and performance
Develop APIs, event-driven services, and integrations with external systems
Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvement in system architecture
Work in an agile, cross-functional environment alongside product and AI teams
Qualification
Required
Experience with microservices architecture
Familiarity with event-driven systems (Kafka, Pub/Sub, SQS, etc.)
Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CDK, or similar)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
Bachelors degree required
Preferred
Exposure to AI/ML systems, data platforms, or real-time analytics (a plus)
