The Building Products Testing Technician will perform testing on anchor bolts in concrete and ensure quality and safety requirements are met under the direction of the Laboratory Supervisor.

Responsibilities
Install anchor bolts per manufacturers published instructions
Use power tools and hand tools associated with installing concrete anchors and fixing wood or aluminum form work, as well as general testing laboratory work
Understand and perform testing in accordance with applicable test standards associated with concrete anchors
Input raw data into Microsoft Excel or other data analysis software
Maintain established productions rates for performing anchor testing
Work independently when given instructions
Assist with equipment & materials inventory
Assist with assembling and pouring concrete slabs
Maintain test equipment, tools and machinery, and promptly report any malfunctions
Maintain a clean, orderly and safe working environment
Qualification
Required
Must have valid Driver's License, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment
Good mathematical knowledge required
Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with basic hand/power tools
Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel)
Well-developed oral and written communication skills to meet a variety of communication needs
Preferred
2-5 years' relatable experience is preferred
Forklift experience is preferred
Ability to operate a motor vehicle within Element company policies
