Responsibilities

Support the delivery of high quality and reliable powertrains for all Ford Racing programs (F1, LMDh, GT3 / GT4 Mustang, Production Mustangs and Raptors)
Lead the creation and simulation of multi-body physics models to develop motorsports powertrain systems and components such as valvetrain, cranktrain, FEAD, driveline and gear drives
Define and coordinate the physical testing of engines and/or powertrain systems to acquire the data needed to validate models or component designs or similar
Able to interpret simulation/testing results to clearly document and present technical information to team members and non-technical staff

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or similar related engineering field
10+ years of engine and/or driveline development, design or testing experience
10+ years of experience in multi-body kinematic/dynamic analysis using a commercially available software package e.g. GT-Suite, VALDYN, AVL-Excite, ADAMS, SABR etc

Preferred

Strong communication skills
Competent with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Strong team player, ability to work across functions, and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with high responsibility
Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or similar related engineering field
10+ years of engine development, design and/or testing experience
Strong overall knowledge of vehicle and powertrain functions
Possess a competitive spirit and interest in professional motorsports
International and Domestic travel may be required
