Responsibilities
Complete hazardous waster pick ups at customer and satellite sites
Properly store hazardous waste when received from the customer
Assist with supply and materials inventory
Inspect vehicle and weight handling equipment before daily operation
Provide support to HWSTF customers
Participate in all HW training
Assist with daily and weekly inspections of HWSTF facility and satellite collection areas
Assist with Navy and regulatory agency inspections
Complete all post-shipment documentation
Complete requests for acceptance, pick up, confirmation of requests, receiving of and processing of hazardous waster at the HWSTF and satellite areas
Perform housekeeping and maintenance, if necessary
Report all issues with the equipment to the HWSTF Manager
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma
Two years of experience in HW handling
Completion of 24 or 40 hour HAZWOPR course (OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120)
Current medical examination will be required
Government license material handling equipment for forklift
Preferred
CA commercial Class B driver's license with Hazardous Material, Tanker and Air Brakes endorsement
