Responsibilities
The intern would review the execution plans for all STORED PROCEDURES for optimization, making recommendations for improvement, then coding, testing, and implementing approved recommendations
The intern would identify updates needed to User ID logging fields, coding, testing, and implementing those changes
The intern will analyze existing DB tables/queries, then alter, test, and implement improvements will be key
Qualification
Required
The intern candidate should be a full-time student at an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science or related discipline
The Candidate should have knowledge of relational database concepts, experience with Microsoft SQL Server – specifically Database Design and Performance Tuning is a plus
Candidate should have exposure to all phases of software development life cycle
Strong communication and team skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a small team
Positive attitude and outstanding customer service orientation
