Production Support/Electrical Engineer II

Responsibilities

Managing component obsolescence identification and mitigation
Troubleshooting hardware and process issues down to circuit card assembly (CCA)/Module and component levels to include analog/digital/RF/power circuitry and interfaces
Work in a team environment to ensure the production and sustainment timelines are maintained
Analysis of test data of products to make sure test specifications are met
Reading and interpreting and applying engineering drawings, including assembly drawings, parts lists, wire lists, and schematics
This position requires daily on-site support and is not open to remote work possibilities

Required

Typically, a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience with electronics and electrical circuits as well as ability to isolate failures to root cause. Ability to read & interpret drawings and electrical schematics
Experience in lab equipment such as multimeters, signal sources, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers
Experience working on a production program
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred

Experience with supplier engagement
Experience with documenting test results and engineering recommendations clearly and concisely
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Experience with Mentor Graphics, Matlab, or PSPICE
Ability to work in a team environment and communicate with leadership and colleagues
