Akkodis Group Nordics is seeking a Desktop Application Engineer for a contract role with a client in Draper, UT. The ideal candidate will be responsible for application engineering for end-user productivity tools, managing vulnerabilities, and configuring endpoint management solutions.

Responsibilities

Application Engineering for end‑user productivity tools including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint Online, Windows 365, Azure Virtual Desktop
Vulnerability management for Windows 10/11 and macOS workstations, including 3rd‑party applications such as Adobe, Java, and others
Configure, manage, and maintain Jamf Pro (policies, profiles, smart groups, extension attributes)
Tanium Endpoint Management: Utilize Tanium for real‑time visibility, monitoring, patching, and vulnerability remediation
Build, test, and deploy configuration profiles, packages, and OS updates
Create, maintain, and execute Bash/zsh/Python scripts for automation
Manage device lifecycle from provisioning (Apple Business Manager / Zero Touch) to decommissioning
Act as Tier 3 escalation for advanced macOS, app, and network issues

Required

6–8 years of IT engineering experience required
