Administrative Assistant III, UNLV PRACTICE [R0150356]
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) is seeking an Administrative Assistant III for the UNLV PRACTICE, a community mental health training clinic. This role involves managing client accounts, overseeing an electronic medical record system, supervising student workers, and maintaining clinic operations.

Responsibilities
Supervision of student workers, include graduate assistants in implementing all front desk duties in compliance with all health care policies and procedures (e.g., HIPAA) related to client/patient flow; ensuring front desk coverage providing ongoing formative and summative evaluation of performance
Management of client accounts including creating invoices, entering payments, allocating funds, resolving discrepancies and creating deposits for cashiering
Oversight of electronic medical record system (EMR) including scheduling of clients, assisting student clinicians with appointments and room reservations, maintaining calendars and resolving conflicts in the system
Physical maintenance of all clinic spaces on and off-campus including but not limited to ordering keys, requesting repairs, telecom requests, and keeping all spaces, furnishing and equipment in good repair, clean and organized
Maintaining and organizing general operations/office supply inventory
Assisting director in special projects related to clinic/office admiration as assigned
Qualification
Required
Graduation from high school or equivalent education and three (3) years of progressively responsible relevant work experience which included experience in one or more of the following areas: maintenance of complex records and files; public/customer relations including explaining detailed policies, regulations and requirements; preparation and processing of financial and statistical documents such as payroll, travel, claims and budgeting forms; and assisting staff and management with projects and activities; OR one year of experience as an Administrative Assistant II in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in a health-related field
Previous administrative experience (1-2 years) in a mental health setting
